Photography has been a hobby and passion of mine since I received my first digital camera for my birthday in 2003 (thanks Mom and Dad!).  Since then, I've taken tens of thousands of photos and have learned as much about Photoshop editing as I have about the art of picture taking.

My favourite subjects include plants, creatures, people, interesting objects, and all things in macro.  I began my picture-taking escapades with the Canon PowerShot S30, had a series of brief love affairs with the Canon G1, G5, and G2, and have finally settled with the Canon PowerShot Pro 1 (for now).
